The Burger King logo is unique in that it has an illustration of the food that the company serves, and usually restaurant logos don't have this characteristic.  The branding hasn't changed much over the years but the original logo looked even more like a burger than the one that is pictured here.  Despite these changes the colors have remained predominately the same.  It is nice that the designers chose the three primary colors for their logo because the three go very well together. This also helps with recognition, so much so that it would be difficult for any other business to use these same colors in a completely different logo, simply because people would think of Burger King when they saw it. The font is a custom typeface that is bold and San Serif.
