Schulze started the Best Buy company, only at the time of its beginning the company was called, "The Sound of Music".  The current logo is simplistic and to the point.  Its bright colors make it stand out. While the logo is easy to remember, its design could be improved. The logo is meant to represent a company that sells its products for cheaper than other competitors and while the logo isn't necessarily cheap in design the typography could be improved.  This is one of those cases where the designers put very large font in a very small box.  With little breathing room the font becomes cramped.  The constant change of the logo design may have also effected branding recognition for the company.
